If you’re looking to earn pocket money in your spare time or while you’re on the go, apps like this one can be good options. You don’t need anything in particular, it’s free and surveys can be completed quite fast.
Personally, Zap Surveys is a nay. For several reasons which I explain below. To sum the thing up, there’s nothing special about this app, surveys you find on there can be found elsewhere, the payouts are pretty standard, the app is buggy and I personally don’t feel confident using this app.
It’s an app that pays you for taking surveys from third parties (Peanut Labs, SurveySay Go, etc.). I haven’t found much reviews online about the app so decided to test it out myself.
It’s pretty straightforward:
You make money by completing surveys from other survey panels like Peanut Labs. All surveys from PL pay at least 1$ and surveys from SurveySay pay between 50 cents to 1.5$ I think.
You can earn more by sharing the app on your social medias and shits.
Until someone show me their payment proofs, app screenshots and all, I’ll say that this app isn’t paying what it’s supposed.
But let’s forget about that for a moment, you get paid via PayPal once you reach the 25$ minimum required for withdrawal.
Technically speaking this should be for anyone looking to earn a few extra bucks here and there. It’s not the best survey app/website out there so if you’re already into paid surveys and panels it might be best to stick with your favorite ones. Here are some I like:
Stay at home parents, single parents, students, teenagers, etc. Mostly anyone who have some spare time and doesn’t mind working for less than minimum salary.
App That Pays actually owns other legit apps. Also, The app looks clean, is easy to use and get your head around, even for newbies.
The owner is a company called Apps That Pays LLC. It also owns other money apps such as:
Oh my, were to begin. First of, I wasn’t able to register with any email address. I was forced to register with my Facebook account. Already pissed lol.
Second, as soon as you sign-up, you are presented with a profile survey, which supposedly gives you 6$ and a couple of cents. Did it, got the notification that I just received my 6$, but when I looked into my balance, there’s a big 0,00$. I decided to let it go and thought it might be added after verification or something.
So, I went on to the Peanut Lab section, completed the profile survey (yep, again) and took my first survey. I didn’t qualify for the first 2, which gives you 0.03$ every time you don’t qualify. Still nothing added to my account. No worries, I took the survey, completed and got another notification claiming I made 1$.
With no more surveys available from PL, I went to the SurveySay section. Took a small survey profile, didn’t qualify for the 3 first surveys and finally got one at 1.5$. I took it and once at classification questions at the end of a 15 minutes survey, it says “make sure you’re holding your phone sideways for the next questions”. So I turn my phone and am sent back at the SurveySay homepage without being able to “finish” my survey, which was done…
In other words, this app sucks shit.
Tried to contact support a few times, nothing. Surprising.
Didn’t find much apart that small mention in a post:
Like I said above, they didn’t pay me what they were supposed to. Like, they didn’t even credit my account. Some of the things I’ve did while testing the app: I completed the sign-up survey (6+ $), completed a peanut lab survey (1$), didn’t qualified for 2 surveys (0.06$), completed a SurveySay survey (1.5$) and was kicked out at the end of a survey with a trick question.
I tried contacting the support, sent 2 emails so far and still no response.
Overall, really, really bad experience with this app.
What’s more, the surveys that work best are the PeanutLabs surveys which you can access from soooo many different websites and apps. Really there’s nothing special about Zap Surveys.
What’s your take on that the Zap Surveys app? Is there any other app like this one we should look into?
