Review of : Smiley360
Use : Free products
Overview: Smiley360 is a website you can use to get free products delivered to your house. What's the deal? Companies need people to test and review their products and through Smiley360 they get those reviews. Your job? test, review and keep the products.
Yay or nay: For me it'd be a yay. It's fairly simple and doesn't require much effort or time to get free stuff. If you're looking to earn money, sadly this isn't for you.
In simple words, it’s a product testing website. Some companies need reviews on their stuff and they’re welling to give you free products for that feedback. That is, if you’re the demographic they’re looking for and are providing honest and insightful feedback.
If I may quote from their about page “Smiley360 is an online community of influential consumers who try products and experiences for free and share their opinions with others. As a member, you will receive offers from the biggest brands and share your experience with that brand, as well as with friends, family, coworkers, neighbors and other consumers like you”
For starter you need to sign-up to the site. After what the first step is to qualify for a mission. A mission is what they call it when they send you stuff to review.
Next step is to share your feedback with people around you and the Smiley360’s community and partners.
After successfully completing these easy steps, you get to keep your free stuff. You also get points and badges, which increase your chances of getting other offers. The way it works, the most involved and insightful you are, the more points and badges you get, the more mission opportunities they’ll send your way.
You won’t make any money per say. You only get free products delivered to your house.
You’ll usually receive your free products within a few days. The process is quite painless imo.
You need to be 13 yo and older and it’s only available to Canada and the US residents.
That being said, it’s also not something for people looking to earn actual money from their home. At best you’ll get free stuff. At worst you’ll end up wasting your time trying to qualify for missions.
To sum things up, if you’re the kind of person who loves freebies and don’t mind answering short surveys and sharing your opinion, this is for you.
The website is fairly easy to navigate and upon joining, they kinda take you by the hand and show you how it works. Newbie friendly yeah.
What else hum, you get free stuff, which is cool. There’s a solid base of active users involved and that makes it all the more fun to participate. You can share with them, see their photos and reviews and all that jazz.
The points and badges system is great in the way that the more you do on the site, the more they value you and the more shits you get (more interesting shits also).
Another cool thing is that you don’t only get to review those shitty supplement pills from unknown companies like many other websites like this one I’ve seen before. You actually get to try and review big brands such as M&M, Arm&Hammer and way more. What I’m trying to say is, you get the chance to review big names’ new products.
Almost forgot, you get to try products before anyone else 🙂
First thing to come in mind is that you don’t actually make any money out of it. Tbh I think this system works better with products. You like it, here you go, you can share with friends and family.
Even tho I think the points and badges system is great, it also makes it a bit slower for new users. You’ll have to complete a few surveys, earn points where you can and then wait for them to send you stuff. It’ll take some time before getting any real “traction”.
Something else that sucks is that you sometimes only get samples and that is especially true when you’re just starting out.
My opinion is that if you love free stuff, this site is worth a shot. It’s one of the few product testing websites that I’ve found to have interesting products.
You aren’t required to share on your social profiles but it sure is recommended by the Smiley360 team. They make sure to send you reminders every chance they get. That’s a bummer for me. I’m not the kind of guy who likes to share on social medias about products you know, leave me alone ffs.
All in all, I feel like the pros outweigh the cons and I personally love going to my dashboard kinda daily and see what new offers have come up.
What’s your take on Smiley360? Would love to know your thoughts and how things are going so far for you.
If you have any question before joining, let me know!
