- Can be great for people driving a lot
- Data usage issues
- Storage space issues
- Only sweepstakes (must be lucky)
What is MileUp about?
It’s an app that rewards its users while they drive. Every mile drove earns you 2 points. Those points can be exchanged for sweepstakes entries (minimum 75 points).
Can be a great app for people driving a lot, even if you can’t really cash out anything (only participate in sweepstakes). But, there seems to be a lot of people complaining about the data usage of the app.
Who is behind the MileUp App?
The parent company of the app is Agero. You can find out more here. Below is a screenshot of the MileUp team from their homepage.
Is it a scam or is it legit?
The app doesn’t really pay you anything, unless you win the sweepstakes. So, don’t count on it to earn money. But, if you happened to win something or have been in an accident, you shouldn’t worry about getting your prepaid card.
What I like about it
Well, the idea of (maybe) being rewarded for the driving you usually do is appealing.
They also claim to be trying to make the roads safer, which, if true, is a great thing.
What I don't like about it
Well, like I said above, you don’t actually get paid anything, unless you win. Making it a bit useless IMO.
Also, the app seems to be sucking your phone battery pretty dry, really quick and also uses a lot of your data…

Let me walk you through the simple steps you should take in order to make real money online.
How can you make money from MileUp?
It’s pretty straightforward. You earn points while you drive (2 points per mile). You also can earn more by taking on regular challenges such as driving a certain distance for extra points.
All the points you earn can only be redeemed for sweepstakes entries. So yeah, don’t expect making any money out of it.
Ha, if you ever happened to be in a accident (which I hope not), you can report your accident and provide them with some information in exchange of a 250$ prepaid card.
